Product was well packaged in a 8'x8' wooden crate. There was no damage to the product during shipping. THE INSTRUCTIONS/ INSTULATION VIDEO ARE USELESS. Watch the video online before buying. The hardware didn't even match what was in the video. All of the feet were bent on the base and one of them was missing. No joke the company sent me a tube of jb weld and a new foot (see picture). If you watched the insulation video pay close attention to the caulking part because it couldn't be less helpful. My plumber caulked every seam 3 times with GE shower silicon and we were never able to get it to stop leaking (I confirmed with MESA directly that it was properly caulked). The problem is that there are bolt holes that attach the sides to the bottom, any water that gets back there then runs into the bolt holes and onto the ground. One of the many leaks came from the fact that all of the close to 30 water fitting on the back of the shower where only hand tight from the factory and yes that also included the steam generator which blew water all over my basement when first turned on. The Second leak (see attached video) was from the control unit and main manifold which were both installed improperly from the factory. The front of the control panel was also ruined (see picture). The Third leak was from the dozens of screws that were installed from the factory to hold the 2 sides of the shower to the center control panel. These screw have caps on them and there were no washers or silicon to stop the waster from running out the screw holes. The last leak that I still can's find is in the picture of the lower left corner of the shower. I've had 2 different plumbers out and neither can figure out how the water is getting there. Also it was missing the decorative side panel. No help from the company. Just to have the shower installed and the hours the plumbers spent chasing the leaks I have over $3000.
The shower seems fine.
However, do we need to install a Steam Shower Exhaust Fan ??? Please respond promptly.
Love this sauna the size is perfect! It was incredibly easy to put together. The cedar is awesome and the sauna heats up very fast, sit back and enjoy!
