Because it does not secrete resin, splinter, and is comfortable to the touch in high heat, Thermo-Aspen makes an ideal sauna material.

Thermal modification is a completely organic process that uses heat, steam, and pressure to physically enhance the properties of the wood. Sauna wood that is thermally modified is more dimensionally stable, more water-resistant, has an ideal moisture content, and is far superior to untreated wood for resisting decay, pests, and harmful fungi.
The narrow, angular grooves of STS4 wall panels produce the modern nickel-gap look. STS4 can create a sophisticated contrast effect when combined with other wood profiles.
