The Mr.Steam 15 PSIG Safety Valve 1" Outlet is required as a safety pressure control on CU Commercial Steam Shower Generator CU4500.
If for some reason the generator builds up to 15 pounds of pressure (which is extremely rare), the valve will pop open and relieve the pressure.
This valve would typically be piped to a floor drain in the generator installation area.
This valve should be inspected routinely along with all additional components during your routine maintenance schedule.
One (1) 15 PSIG Safety Valve 1" per steam generator.
NOTE: To preserve the originality, operation and safety of replacement parts, this product is not returnable.
